Seasonal Shifts & The First Harvest
In the Northern Hemisphere, August brings the beginning of the harvest season, marked by Lughnasadh (also called Lammas) on or around August 1st, depending on the Full Moon. This ancient Celtic fire festival honors Lugh, the god of skill and craftsmanship, and celebrates the first grain harvest.
Lughnasadh for modern pagans is a time to reflect on what you’ve sown, both literally and metaphorically, and begin reaping the rewards of your labor. It’s also a time to give thanks for the blessings you’ve received and prepare for the turning of the Wheel toward autumn.

Leo & Virgo Energy
